Camp out for Cancer

 —  —

Main Stage Plymouth fair Grounds , 18621 Sherwood Street , Plymouth

Camp Out for Cancer is an inspiring community event presented each Fall by the Amador STARS. Teams build a "tent city" and take turns walking for 20 hours to raise funds and awareness for local cancer patients, survivors, and their families. This free event brings together people of all ages for fun, fellowship, food and entertainment by local musicians. Honor those who have battled cancer at our Survivor Celebration. Dedicate an illumination candle to someone who has been touched by cancer. Join a team and spread a message of hope...that together, we can eliminate cancer! Camp Out for Cancer will take place September 12, 2015 at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth. Our theme this year is "Honoring Superheroes". Last year's event raised over $80,000. Except for 8% donated to research, all the profit will remain local to help our friends and neighbors on their cancer journey. Thank you for joining us under the big top for our "Carnival for the Cure!" Use the tabs below for more information on getting involved to help us celebrate an important milestone -- over $1 MILLION raised for local cancer needs!
